This was something unexpected to the bogeyman. He laughed a little smiling again. “Well hello little Angel. It’s good to see you again.” He said as he satup in the seat he was in instead of leaning in it.
She walked closer, reaching up to brush a piece of confetti off her shoulder. “It’s great seeing you. I thought, well, I haven’t seen you in awhile. So I thought I’d say hello and good evening.” She laced her fingers together behind her back. “How have you been?”
“I have been well.” He chuckled. “Things here have been keeping themselves interesting so I would add entertained as well.” As many things had happened since her departure. “How about yourself.”
“Mostly running jobs over where I was needed. Rather wanted. I took a job and it took far longer then I thought it would.” She gave a small sigh. “It’s nice being home now. I learned some new things to help with the whole ‘Runner’ job, so I think it worked out nicely.”
He recalled her telling him before she ran deliveries for people, but also recaled they did not let her do more dangerous ones due to her gender, so hearing this he assumed they changed their minds about her on that. “That is good you got to go out and see around places though. So what kinds of things did you learn on you time away?”
“Mostly little things. How to blend in rather then take the roofs. Sometimes the roofs are needed though. I also learned that you can always dress up as the opposite gender and it’s easier to go without a problem.” She shrugged her shoulders lightly.
